57 T-Bird

I found this vehicle underneath a jet @ the Ft. Lauderdale executive airport.  Orignally restored somewhere in Ga, the car sat a bit too long and needed some rehab.  The old fuel mixed with Ethanol from today's pump gas, caused varnish to deposit on the intake valve seats and proceeded to bend some pushrods. The heasds were sent out to be cleaned & checked while the fuel tank was replaced and the carb rebuilt. Another problem common to this vehicle was overheating, so a special water pump was purchased to aid in the cooling. I replaced the wheels and updated some of the chrome snd it became a fine driving car.
